To heat PVC pipe segments and accurately stretch them out for future components to be solvent welded to.

Reports to: Lead person

Stage PVC parts to be worked on
Perform set-up procedures
- Select the correct heater template for the heater
- Heater temperature selection
- Mount the correct back plate and find the correct mandrel
- Set the limit switch on the machine
- Input cooling cycle time on the machine
Place PVC parts onto the heater
When the pipe is heated properly, place the part on the shaft and mount the mandrel
Center part accurately and stretch part-out
After the cooling cycle is complete, remove part-out
After the cooling cycle is complete, remove a part from the machine
Accurately record completed work on the production sheet as well as rejects generated onto the reject sheet
Clean up the work area at the end of the shift (10 min. max)
Follow safety operating procedures and general safety rules
Other duties as assigned by management
